Who are we?

Silver Spoon was born in 1972 as the retail brand of British Sugar. This allowed one company to deliver British grown sugar from field to plate on a national level and in 1995, we became a company in our own right.

Here at Silver Spoon we work directly with British farmers in the East of England to grow our sugar beet, and that sugar beet travels on average no more than 28 miles from field to factory.

We have an extensive portfolio of brands including Billington’s, Askeys, Crusha and Allinsons and we’re busy building on our market leading position with creativity, discipline and commitment.

Working at Silver Spoon is not just about sampling the scrumptious treats from our keen bakers (although you could say this is the icing on the top!), we act as one team, believing in each other and what we can achieve together. We really do care at Silver Spoon and this shows through our impressive sustainability story, our passion for providing high quality products, and being a friendly bunch that work as one to delight our customers with sweet innovation and delicious inspiration.

Where are we based?

So where does all the sugary sweet magic happen? Our head office is based in Peterborough, whilst our sites can be found in Bardney, Aylesbury & Bishop Stortford
